Reflective House Numbers

All newly constructed homes in White Bluff are required to have reflective house numbers displayed near the street. Owners of previously built homes are STRONGLY encouraged to add these numbers to their curb if they have not already done so.

Because of the non-standard house numbering system we have within White Bluff, it can be difficult for first responders to find a home quickly during an emergency. A few years ago, the WB VFD was called to a residence for a suspected heart attack. It was the middle of the night, and pitch black. The residence did not have reflective house numbers displayed at the street and this cost the VFD extra time locating the home. Luckily, the delay had no impact on the prognosis. But, next time, it might.

The WB VFD sells a pair of street numbers for $30 including installation. If you wish to purchase these online via a credit card or Paypal, use the form below. Be sure to include your name, email, street address, and phone number. A member of the VFD will contact you to arrange installation.

For more information or to order these over the phone, you can email the VFD or call them at 254-694-HELP.

BBQ & Street Dance Fundraiser
Saturday, October 26, 2019

The White Bluff Volunteer Fire Department BBQ & Street Dance Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 5 pm - 9 pm. The event is held at the WBVFD building located at 20016 Misty Valley Circle.

The main focus of fundraising this year will be to pay down the note on the tanker truck as well as fund other much needed items for our firefighters and fire station.

Dinner consists of brisket and sausage smoked by our WB firefighters, baked beans, potato salad, beverages and dessert.  Dinner will be served 5:00-6:30. You may also pick up your to-go dinners during this time.

A local DJ will be playing your favorite tunes during the evening.  Those who love to dance are encouraged to show off their moves. We are very fortunate that we are supported by the WB Going to Pieces quilting group.  They have once again produced a beautiful quilt that will be auctioned off.  The evening will also include a demonstration of some of our firefighting equipment, a raffle with wonderful items donated from local businesses, and a silent auction.

Come out and support your fire department and enjoy a fun evening with friends.  Tickets cost $20 a person and can be purchased in advance.  Children tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or online only.  There are multiple ways to purchase a ticket, please see below.
