White Bluff Amenities
Wilderness Camping
A wilderness area has been designated by White Bluff for camping. It is located a short
distance behind the Marina Market. Property owners and guests may use this area free of
charge and without reservations.
Any property owner planning to bring a group to the wilderness camping area must have prior
approval from the POA. Groups will be limited in numbers determined by available space.
Groups are defined as three or more guest families. This camping area has no electrical or
water hook-ups. Stays are limited to 14 consecutive nights.
The following camping rules and regulations have been adopted and will be enforced by the
White Bluff Property Owners Association (POA):
No fires outside the provided fire rings.
No fires are permitted when a "burn-ban" is in effect. Violators of this rule are subject to fines imposed by the Hill County Sheriff’s department. Firewood must be provided by the property owner. Cutting or gathering of firewood on other property owners' lots is prohibited.
Quiet time shall be observed between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
When pets are outdoors, they must be on a leash. No pet shall be allowed to roam. All pets while on property must have an ID tag on and be current on all state required shots.
No firearms permitted.
No hunting of any sort.
No fishing is allowed from the marina docks.
Portable generators used in the wilderness area must have factory built installed muffler systems and spark arresters.
During hunting season there are hunters with shotguns or archery equipment on Corps property. We caution you to be very careful about being on Corps property at these times.
Only tent camping is allowed; no RV vehicles of any type are allowed.
Restrooms and showers are located at the back of the Marina Market. These facilities are open only when the Marina Market is open.
Water is available at Marina Market.
Please be courteous and pick up your trash and place it in containers provided.
Please make sure your fires are out before leaving.
Please remember to be courteous to other campers in the Wilderness area.
